Motivation to implement RPA solution:

A global supply chain and logistics leader needed to automate back-office document management. The company wanted to serve its customers better and reduce delivery delays. The goal was to consolidate all the information for over 22,000 monthly shipments. For each shipment, we needed multiple documents with lots of details. By automatically assembling and integrating these details and distributing them to the appropriate departments and individuals, you can release your shipments efficiently and in a timely manner. Information about each shipment collected from multiple sources also needed to be distributed and archived for compliance purposes.

In the automation phase we have:

• developed a methodology for automating existing systems conducted tests of solutions
• measured the parameters of the solution according to the specific needs of the customer
• implemented improvements
• launched production of the robot

Results:

With the help of automation, customers were able to route information to the right departments and people. The client also automated the back-end document management system and integrated all incoming documents into the transport management system “TMS”. This has reduced shipping approval times and increased customer satisfaction.
