RPA supports the Swedish company’s speedier processes

About the client

Fibre networks and broadband services are provided to homes and businesses across Sweden by a rapidly expanding renewable energy generation and distribution company. They have made a name for themselves as the top fibre-optic broadband provider in the nation thanks to their more than 1000 employees and 50 years of combined experience in the construction and operation of infrastructures.

Motivation to implement RPA solution:

Many areas of the company were under pressure due to their unheard-of expansion and success. When the company considered process and framework upgrades, she knew immediately that they needed to invest in RPA. Employees were freed to focus on more practical and productive work by automating the repetitive chores necessary for operations but didn’t add any extra value.

In the automation phase, we have:

• developed a methodology for automating existing systems, conducted tests of solutions
• measured the parameters of the solution according to the specific needs of the customer
• implemented improvements
• launched production of the robot

Results:

To further the idea of RPA, the firm team sought administrative support early on. They needed to show that RPA could get the desired results to justify their investment. This was accomplished through an internal Proof of Concept workshop where test robots were developed to supply the required data for the business initiative’s validation. The earliest robots were made to assist departments like IT, HR, customer service, back office, and procurement with routine manual work.
