Augmented Reality (AR) in a few words - Case study at G1ant Automation

Augmented Reality (AR) in a few words

Augmented reality (AR) is the real-time use of information in the form of graphics, audio, text and other virtual enhancements integrated with real-world objects.

In a nutshell, AR is a technology that “mixes” digital reality with the world we are physically in. Images captured with a camera in our physical world are synchronized with computer graphics and 3D animations.

The difference between Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality

Unlike Virtual Reality which shows us a 3D simulation and detaches us from our physical world, Augmented Reality blends the two parallel orders seamlessly.

Both AR and VR have set new directions of development in the IT sector. More importantly, they can be used in almost any industry to support standard procedures, and give customers or employees a realistic  product experience.
